Introduction to IFPUG

IFPUG: The International Function Point Users Group is a non-profit association that promotes standards for software sizing.
IFPUG has specifically defined the method for counting Function Points, which has become an ISO standard for measuring the functional weight of applications or development projects.
In particular, the association carries out:
- updating the manual of international practices (CPM)
- the coordination of its network of experts at the international level
- certification and listing of its members:
- Certified Function Point Specialist: CFPS
- Certified Function Point Practitioner: CFPP
- the publication of articles dealing with the subject
