Key performance indicators based on Function Points
The Function Point (FP) metric is usually included in the performance indicators
monitored by CIOs.
Here are the main indicators used:
- Cost: Manufacturing cost / number of PF
- Productivity: Number of PFs delivered per day
- Speed: Number of PF delivered / Project duration in days
- Functional application size: Number of PFs/application
- Quality: Number of incidents / Number of PF
- Iterative modifications (Rework): Number of change requests / Number of PF
