IT: purchase your software developments at the right price

No CIO can do without IT service providers. Every CIO needs to purchase software, integration, networks, storage, servers, workstations, cloud services, etc. All too often, they become dependent on certain suppliers, as their technologies are integral to the very construction of the information system. The cost of changing suppliers can therefore be significant, even insurmountable. And suppliers know how to take advantage of this, including through questionable commercial practices. It is time for CIOs to learn how to defend themselves in order to ensure the sustainability of their businesses and compliance with budgets.
